Needs Polishing... or a Guitarist

A symphonic metal track usually requires some collaboration with an actual metal musician before it can shine. But I'll offer input:

The drums are a little repetitive.

The rhythm guitar is unmistakably digital. While it's okay as is, I would suggest that you collaborate with one of the regulars in the portal. If you don't need an insanely complex lead solo, I recommend Bad-Man-Incorporated, both for guitar work and for help in mixing the sound (sounds muffled).

Voted 5 and shot you 2.36. Zero Voters are harsh when they don't read your comments. Perhaps a good chunk of the mess with them can be resolved with a campaign to end child illiteracy.

blackattackbitch responds:

Thanks dude, I needed that advice. I'm planning to collaborate with a metal musician after I finish the rest of the track. Regardless, I want to do the best that I can on my own before I finish this track. And I think the muffled sound might be a result of me using a tad bit too many instruments to compose this and not enough EQ work. (I went melody-crazy hahaha)

Man, if I can get a good guitarist and a good drummer on this though, my god, this song could be epic.

Thanks for the advice, this is the exact kind of guidance I was looking for!

Influences are Obvious

Someone's been listening to a lot of Gorebastard.

BERSERKYD responds:

Nope never heard about that... Its only in my head ! I'm a freaking bastard sometime :P

Finish

Seriously.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Ok dude. Also, I have vox for xeno's new thing...just gotta polish them up.

Thanks man.

Cinematic Tribute

Holy Shit! OCRemix Material!

You could definitely try something like this, only not the same track here--make another one--and clean house with the finicky judges at Overclocked Remix.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Hey Neophyte, was an OCRemix?

Can I Use This Song in a Flash Video Game?

OMFG Killer Instinct Gold Fulgore Theme?

Hey, it brought me back, okay!

Floggers and Lagers!

GoreBastard responds:

Cheers man!
Fulgore was a beast!

And yeah, you can use it in a flash, that's cool.

Thanks duder!

Bang Your Head

Hi! Welcome back. Apparently, there aren't enough fuckers dying of plague so you're just in time to help us all out!

Well anyway, since you went the free route, the songs are easier to make into flashes.

I also notice the riffs you use are very trademark, in a sense. You could string several songs from your catalog into a complete bad-ass metal soundtrack for a game (hence my BBQBeefburgerman concept and, wouldn't you know it, that guy made another flash to prove who rules the portal and shit!).

Pretty soon, a bunch of metalheads will be pumping out tracks and forming albums, inspired by your attempt. And they'll probably pale in comparison to this one track alone.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Mega Thanks for the awesome words, my friend. Glad people are diggin this. Next album song soon. haha.

Its all about cochlear penetration. haha.

Thanks again, dude!

Some Make a Cartoon of This Prick

Hey, Superius... Doritos are made by the SAME FUCKIN' COMPANY!

Had this clip repeat constantly until I snapped and burst into maniacal laughter.

The full skit is worthy of a flash being produced.

tehslaphappy responds:

Yes.

When one is drained of all humor, anything beautiful is met with one of two things: disdainful worry or worrisome disdain. Anything ugly is met with violence. Flash is complex and beautiful, not a toy. Keep that in mind... or things get ugly real quick.
