I recognize the song as from Lunar: The Silver Star. No joke. Look up Working Designs or Game Arts, Playstation or Sega CD games. The "Complete" edition included a bonus music CD.

This isn't that great. It might help your buddy's assignment, but I think you're better off telling the teacher you were paid to assist him. That would be loads of fun.

This made me laugh. It is so piss-poor horrible that it made me chuckle like crazy. Why? This is the way a Newgrounds Spoof always turns out: utterly bad. It is a storyboard of a cartoon that could be, but the audio and voice-over track are spirited and witty. They fit perfectly.

This isn't the greatest thing on Newgrounds, but it's got a charm and twist all its own. It won't be voted high, but for making me crack up wicked bad, you got a 10.

Could be a lot better if you kept at it after all this time. You're not the only guy around here who likes to pick on the Ultimate Warrior, Macho-Man Randy Savage. Actually, a Mario parody sans sprites is quite rare, though there are a few, so props for staying out of the slush-pile.

To an Evil-Dog Track; Skillful, but not Original

This is a track from Evil-Dog's catalogue, and it's titled "A Darker Soul." It's a Newgrounds track. That means you should look up his stuff and properly credit him in the Author/File Info. I certainly would.

Nice fbf, by the way. It's how a line-art or animated storyboard ought to be designed. It's a little over-the-top and, as you admitted, rather derivative of what everyone else is doing, so nothing groundbreaking or avant garde going on. Still, it is a cut above the traditional faire and spam of Newgrounds, hence its well-deserved Excellent Score.

We could really use some Konami tributes around here. The sprite movies have been nothing but Mario spoofs and DBZ-inspired Sonic epics. Please shift the balance of power towards something far more evil. Thank you.

Another Thirty Seconds of My Life Wasted Away

What the fuck did I watch that for?

Between the two of them, the glitchy one's art direction was far more promising. Of course, that's not saying much.

If you're going to spend eons crafting a comic flash, you would do well with storyboards and a plot... maybe a theme that offers a satisfying ending... before you convict yourself to create a series out of them. A little planning goes a long way.

In this case, I'd give this flash a 1. Passive secondary blam. You put some effort into it, didn't you?

[Abobo: Weed all day]

Another Successful Newgrounds Collaboration. Yay.

Abobo reacts whenever a keypress or dragging of the mouse happens. It's technically a "gadget" that reacts to you using your computer. Then it started occurring at random; probably my imagination on overdrive to imagine that Abobo sings on account of the audience's minute participation. It's kind of goofy but the novelty wears off.

Rebaz hasn't been seen for a while. This certainly resembles something he'd conjure up; his status as a sprite mixer was once rather prolific. Why he needed to collaborate on a project just to have Abobo sing about dope remains unknown, but it makes me fantasize of the days when his Double Dragon tributes and parodies actually kicked butt, as though you found your graphically enhanced doppelganer, screamed "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!" and when he went "Hello." you just kicked him off the skyscraper just to be on the safe side. In any case, whoever put this on Front Page is a genius. Beats the surprise of something like Turd of the Week....
